Terms of Use - Common Sense Budgeting

Welcome to CSB (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CSB. By using CSB, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

CSB is a budgeting tool designed to help you manage your personal finances. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. CSB does not access, store, or share any of your personal financial data. Your personal data will only be used if you choose to contact us through our contact page, and only for the purpose of providing you with a direct personal response. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any information you input into the App.

2. Data Privacy

At CSB, your privacy is our priority.

We do not collect, store, or share your personal financial data through the App.
All information you enter remains locally on your device.
We use in-app analytics to study how different aspects of the App are used. This helps us improve the App’s functionality and user experience. These analytics do not access or track your personal financial data.
Payments for use of the App (if applicable) are processed through a trusted third-party provider. You will be redirected to the third party for payment processing, and we recommend you read their Privacy Policy carefully.
To avoid losing your data when switching to a new device, we strongly recommend that you export your data from the App and import the file into your new device.

Because we do not store your financial data, we cannot recover your information if your device is lost, damaged, or the App is deleted.

3. Intellectual Property

CSB and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our permission.

4. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the App’s performance, reliability, or suitability for your financial decisions.

Use CSB at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damages arising from your use of the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSB and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
